If you are new to the world of model aircraft, you should start here in the category Trainers. Remote controlled model aircraft are not as easy to fly as it might look to an outsider. Therefore, for the beginner we recommend a plane that
- is not too fast.
- neither too small (as it is susceptible to wind) nor too large (as it is too heavy, especially during take-off and landing),
- is made of robust material (foam) to withstand even a fall,
- and includes stabilization technologies on board.
In addition, beginners should always have an experienced helper on the ground, who can intervene in flight operations if necessary via the instructor-student function (integrated in most remote controls).
Here you will find models which are particularly suitable for learning to fly in model sport, as well as a wide range of accessories, tuning and spare parts. Especially completely ready to fly model airplanes (RTF: ready to fly) or airplanes where only the receiver has to be connected to a remote control (BNF: bind and fly) are recommended for the untrained model pilot (simply select the "Completion Level" in the filter).
