Smart Transmitter File (STF) automates radio transmitter programming. The technology lives inside compatible Spektrum receivers. When you bind your transmitter to an aircraft with STF, the receiver sends all programming settings directly to your radio. No manual entry needed or downloading files from Google Drive. More importantly, there aren’t any tedious step-by-step instructions.

Spektrum STF technology configures everything faithfully. Switch assignments load correctly. Rates and expo match factory specs. Voice callouts activate. Telemetry settings sync. You go from binding to flying in minutes.

The process is simple. Create a blank model file on your iX or NX transmitter. Don’t add a model name or change any settings. Start the binding process with your BNF aircraft. The transmitter detects the STF on the receiver. A download screen appears showing the aircraft name, item number, and file version. Select Load. Confirm the download. Wait a few seconds, and your transmitter is programmed and ready.
