Q: If I remember my electrical theory correctly, hooking batteries up in "series" increases the voltage (in automotive terms bigger engine, more horse power) and hooking them up in "parallel" increases the current (again automotive term bigger gas tank). Am I correct? Any hellp would be appreciated. Many thanks.

A: Yes you are correct. A series connection increases voltage without changing capacity. A parallel connection will increase capacity (flight time) without changing voltage (power).
