Super Scorpion 90mm EDF PNP with Reflex

Item No.
FMS - FMM097PORGX

Introduction

Inspired by the features of the 70mm Super Scorpion, the higher level 90mm Super Scorpion is coming! The Super Scorpion is a collaborative venture bringing together original design and authorization from the Aviation Design Team from France with cutting-edge production methods from FMS in China.

Overview

The 90mm Super Scorpion keeps all superior features of the prior 70mm Super Scorpion, while improving the model structure, and adding a flap function. When working with the new power system, it performs excellently whether high-speed flying or standard-speed flying. In addition, it features the CNC-processed shock-absorbed metal landing gear set, a 50mm diameter front wheel and 68mm diameter rear wheels, these are excellent for taking off and landing on both paved and grass surface airfields.

This plane is yet another example of FMS’ quality. Incorporating many new and advanced construction and assembly features such as the optimized screw-based assembly, ball links and the new multi-connect technology, the Super Scorpion will assemble quickly. In addition, the power system utilizes our 90mm 12-blade EDF and the 3546-KV1900 motor system provides tremendous power and speed when coupled with a 6S battery. The vibrant orange color scheme makes this airplane look fantastic on the ground and in the air...

No matter whether you’ve had a Super Scorpion before or not, the FMS 90mm Super Scorpion is full of surprises!

FMS Reflex V2

Complete System Upgrade - Reflex V2 is Compatible with Most FMS Aircraft

The Reflex V2 is a user-upgradeable flight controller. Reflex V2 can be reprogrammed easily with different model files via a simple software - allowing pilots to use the same flight control unit as they progress to different aircraft. Flying is simple when you have your very own “co-pilot” — the Reflex V2!

Reflex Functions

Three flight modes are available: Stabilized, Optimized or Off. This is controlled with a two or three position switch on the transmitter. When assigned to a two position switch, the Reflex system changes between stabilized and optimized modes.

Stabilized mode: Designed for beginners, Reflex will rapidly level the aircraft from any attitude when this mode is activated. Stabilized mode combines accelerometer and gyro data to determine how to level the aircraft when the control sticks are released - giving pilots absolute peace of mind. Note: The aircraft will maintain level flight with 50-60% throttle, and the aircraft will climb under full throttle.

Optimized mode: Utilizing advanced solid-state gyros, the Reflex system maintains aircraft attitude by counteracting inflight upsets - for gusts to crosswinds. With Reflex, even small aircraft will fly with the confidence of something much larger!

Off: Turns off all gyro functionality, the aircraft is flown completely manually when the gyro is off.

FAQ

There is a main flight board that handles all the connectors, and directs them to the various servos on board. The retracts use one channel and the flight control board handles the actual retracts as well as the gear doors as necessary. The leads from your receiver would go to the main control board, and the wiring from there to the airplanes servos/retracts is already installed and does not need any additional wiring on your part.

The Airplane uses 6 channels (Thro, Ail, Elev, Rudd, Retracts, Flaps). The first 4 channels run through the Reflex unit, and all first 6 go through the flight controller board. If you have an 8 channel receiver, you can use channels 7 and 8 to operate any other functions

This model uses a 3546-1900Kv outrunner motor.
