Replacement Frame: worth it?
Review by Spekit L. on 28 Sep 2018review stating Replacement Frame: worth it?
I purchased this frame after a couple of months of bashing my Inductrix + and repeatedly breaking the original frame. For the most part, the broken spokes could be repaired with hot glue, but when all four of the spokes going out to one of the motor mounts were broken at the same time, I knew it was time to replace the frame. This necessitates a general dismantle of the drone, offering a good practice opportunity for possible Tiny Whoop building in the future. I had been experiencing significant wobble with the old frame, and I am happy to say that the new frame cleared that all up. However, it only took five or so major crashes (the tumbling through tree canopy type) to break completely one of the front motor ducts and partially one of the rear ones, not to mention some of the spokes. So far, glue has been enough to keep the frame together, but it probably wont' be long before a new frame is in order. So is this this fix worth it? For me, yes, because Horizon Hobby product support has already credited me a new drone and 100 dollars worth of spare parts when I was having problems with the drone in the past, making it expedient for me to keep this drone flying as long as possible. If you need a replacement frame, my advice would be to go ahead and get two because it will only be another couple months of consistent flying before you need another one.

works fine but...
Review by Knight74 on 2 Mar 2018review stating works fine but...
It would be nice if they would come up with a stronger material to make this from. As it is I spend a lot of time reinforcing all the joints and it still breaks after a day of racing.
