Due to surplus production line capacity, Progress Rail outshopped several locomotives in the early 2020s (some sources indicate that these units were to be part of a Norfolk Southern order). The two units on offer here are known as âTier 4 Credit SD70ACesâ, and are produced using âbankedâ credits that are obtained from the production of tier 4 emissions-compliant units.
