Iowa Pacific Holdings (IPH) was formed in 2001 to acquire smaller railroads while creating rail traffic. In December 2005, IPH acquired the San Luis & Rio Grande Railroad. SLRG 111 was painted in an Illinois Central inspired scheme which features Iowa Pacific Holdings lettering on each side. This unit was originally a CEFX unit which retained the original CEFX number.
