Fair build, but performs well.
Review by Bird G. on 18 Mar 2015 review stating Fair build, but performs well. Similar to other users here, I suffered a low height flip over. When trying a temporary solution to fix, it failed completely in GPS mode and went nuts. Moral of the story, if it breaks, FIX IT right. And when inserting the rod for the hinge, I used a nice easy pressure with vice grips and inserted slowly with the smooth end first. Do this BEFORE you place the base on the body. That way you can see the alignment of the pin. The process went very smooth and was straight-forward.....(after removing props, and ALL OF THE SCREWS of the body. )
I agree with another user... make the mast able to flip BOTH ways! Please? ALSO.. IF you cut the cable, best bet is order the GPS Antenna as well. The connector at the board is a snap connector which will feed through the mast without modification.
