Used float set for my UMX Timber in Michigan to fly off of snow. Assembly was easy and as noted by some others, rear support receiver is not as wide as the float support. Fix is easy, simply snip an 1/8 of inch section out of float wire insert section and place in groove. Support is still stable, you will never know it was cut. I do recommend using the plastic gear clips provided with the Timber over the metal clips and screws provided with float set. To add even further stability to floats I simply glued 3 carbon fiber supports across the floats for added rigidity. Final mod was to coat bottom of floats with marine expoxy so that ice and snow does not scuff or scar floats. I have three float planes and have done this to all of them to protect the floats. Works great off of snow or water and did not throw off CG. I would and have recommended this product to my flying friends.

Good for loose dirt and for water. For the sport cub, you need a lot of power. The timber will do just fine with 2/3 power. Bad part is that the screws are hart to get in. Add some scotch tape to bottom for more protection of the foam. Overall, GREAT PRODUCT!!!

These were easy to install, worked well, and a good value. They fit right onto the Sport Cub S model and work well in the water.

Love the cub for flights around the house. Add this and the fun is 200% Need to be on top of takeoff and landind, but if you have any Float flight time no suprises will be found. Add the ASK-21 and the Cub is GREAT!
