Good lipo tx batt
Review by Molarfoger on 30 Jan 2015review stating Good lipo tx batt
This is a good replacement tx batt. Just remember that all lipos hold a constant voltage for a long time and then fall off rapidly and ,if you're not careful, unexpectedly. You should fly for a day then charge on a charger that will report ma's added. Compre that figure with 75% of ma's the pack will deliver and use accordingly. Do'nt trust the pack gauge on transmitter.

Dependable and long lasting
Review by Electricguy on 15 Dec 2013review stating Dependable and long lasting
This battery does what its supposed to do. I don't know the drain rate, but for my longest weekend of flying it only dropped by less than a volt. Its nice not having to worry about your TX battery when flying a fleet of planes. I usually take 5 or 6 to the field and I only use the DX18 to fly them all. Between flying and tinkering with setting... that's a long time with the TX on.

Battery is junk
Review by Steve D. on 25 Jan 2016review stating Battery is junk
I purchased a brand new DX18 Gen2 radio and after the 3rd charge the transmitter battery failed. I purchased the radio to fly my new $5K Extra 260. I was just lucky it failed while i was setting up another aircraft after completion. I have only used the provided charger and the previous night I charged the transmitter complete. The next day i used it for about 1/2 an hour while i was setting up the new plane. the next morning I when't to turn the transmitter on and nothing. The transmitter was not left on, if I would have been flying my new Extra 260 I would have lost it to a failed battery. I am also a bit concerned that the replacement is on back order as this seems to imply that they have gone through a lot of them and had to restock.
NOT GOOD and a very bad start as i purchased the top of the line Spectrum radio to ensure I had the best equipment to fly my large investment!!!
