Review by Elmshoot on 3 Aug 2010review stating Cool Sound
I flew this engine in 2004 at Top Gun in a scale application. This is not a power house, between the 1.20 and 1.50 4 stroke in over all power. The sound is unbelievable I can get it to idle below 1000 rpm with glow heat on. For Glow plugs I use the OS F plug in all 4 holes. Then I run remote glow heat on the forward cly using 3 volts with one wire running from the center post on each plug. That's why it works at 3 volts since the GP run in series. If a GP is burned out the engine will not start since it is an open circuit. I power the fwd GP since If I need to I can add a normal glow driver to the rear cly and start that way. Fuel, I use the YS 20/20 fuel available from most major fuel producers as I do on all my Saito 4 strokes. I use Wildcat 20/20, It runs just great, idles well. The only down side is this engine burns a lot of fuel $$$ The extra nitro will attack some finishes if you splash it straight on your planes finish since most are designed to resist up to 15% Did I mention the cool sound? Sparky
