1/8 Renegades Pre-Mounted Monster Truck Tires, Yellow Compound, 3414S Wheels (2) Overview

The ultimate monster truck racing tire is now available pre-mounted for a variety of new vehicles on the market. The Renegades named for the hard-core performance design with low-profile racing carcass can now be placed on popular vehicles such as the Losi LMT and Traxxas Maxx. The chevron style lugs has been created with specially designed back-cut tread and shaved carcass areas imitating the real thing. At rotation, the tread still stands tall and provides a hefty edge of forward grip in a variety of conditions. The pre-mounted tire has back-cut sections providing a small transition during high-speed corning which conform to changing terrain and obstacles.

The sidewalls have been treated with wording, designs, and descriptions consistent with 1:1 tire during that generation of performance. The low-profile stance of the Renegades stays very flat during racecourse competition, speed-runs, or general use. The tire carcass profile holds the weight extremely low while the design of the tire beads allows just the right amount of contact patch for gluing and application. The Renegades measure in at ~4.0” W x 6.2”H and are available in two different compounds.

One of the greatest details about the pre-mounted Renegades, they are mounted to the JConcepts Aggressor (#3414S) 2.6” x 3.8” wheel in silver color, making them even more scale in monster truck appearance. The medium-soft "yellow" compound which is recommended for dirt, grass, and asphalt feels noticeably mushy and sticky and has expanding characteristics and tend to “pizza cutter” during flat out high-speed runs. Renegades' tires are complete and include open cell "React" inserts to support the grippy tires. The 17mm adaptors are already screwed and locked into place making them ready to go. Just attach to the vehicle, add planetary cover on the outside and enjoy the performance.
