Introduction

With eight titles at the IFMAR (International Federation of Model Auto Racing) 1/8 scale engine racing buggy World Championships, the Inferno series boasts an unrivaled record of success. Based on the most advanced MP10 model, an electric power unit has transformed this machine to create the new MP10e! Evolution of electric motor and battery technology has delivered speed comparable with engine (GP) models so 1/8 electric racing buggies have become a competition class around the world. The quiet simplicity of electric power opens up more opportunity to enjoy high-performance 1/8 buggy performance. As various manufacturers adapted 1/8 models for competition, Kyosho optimized the weight distribution to enhance the MP10e far beyond the performance of the MP9e Evo. Boasting the performance and reliability of the MP10’s proven suspension and drive system, the MP10e features a specially designed main chassis that provides optimal chassis flex and sure-footed grip with an aerodynamic body designed for this electric model to deliver easy handling at high-speed. The motor mount is compatible with various size motors and supports the left-right distribution of the battery weight. Specially designed receiver box and ESC mount deliver improved maintenance efficiency. For the sharpest racing edge, the enhanced performance of the MP10e will be your first choice in a racing weapon.

Inforno MP10e

Chassis Layout

New layout design arranges the batteries on both sides of the chassis with the motor mounted on the front midship. Even left-right distribution of battery weight reduces roll speed through corners to improve control. Simultaneously, forward mounting of the motor shifts the center of gravity to the front and combines with the proven undercarriage to maintain control stability, especially over gaps.

Suspension System

The suspension system shares components with the MP10 GP model. Toughness and reliability combine with suspension geometry optimized to extract the best tire performance from this electric model under hard racing conditions. Superior road holding is achieved, even with the weight of the MP10e. Various optional parts for MP10 such as hard type lower suspension arms are compatible with the MP10e.

Oil Shocks

Oil shocks with precision aluminum cylinder cases deliver superior heat dissipation and are included as standard. Big bore shocks provide excellent damping capability and stabilize the posture of the machine. Aluminum shock caps are compatible with both diaphragm and aeration type dampers. Diaphragm type dampers are standard in the kit, however optional Shock Cap Seal Set allows installation of aeration type.

Aluminum main chassis

High durability hard anodized aluminum main chassis exhibits optimal degree of flex and mechanical grip required for high-performance by R/C cars.

Center bulkhead

Center bulkhead features an integrated orthodox slide motor mount that adapts to different size motors while also allowing easy backlash adjustment and attachment/detachment of the motor. Motor is sold separately.

Battery Mount

Batteries mounted on left and right sides are securely fixed with hook & loop band. This allows batteries to be easily attached/detached and provides compatibility with various battery sizes. Batteries are sold separately.

ESC Mount

ESC (speed controller) is attached via a dedicated mount that is fixed to the chassis with screws, making it easier to attach/detach for ease of maintenance while being more secure than conventional double-sided tape mounting. Mount size is compatible with each main brand of ESC.

Radio Box

Special dustproof radio box for receiver and lap time measuring device protects delicate equipment from damage. The hatch is fixed with one hook pin and can be opened and closed easily, contributing to improved maintenance efficiency.

Specially designed aerodynamic body

Body has been specially designed and validated through extensive testing for optimal performance with this electric powered model. Superior aerodynamics achieve both sharp handling control and stability at high speed. The kit is also compatible with the existing MP10 bodies that can be set to suit course and driver preferences.
