Overview
The Shredder XTE large scale brushless electric truck lives up to its name, shredding anything in its path. The ready to run Shredder XTE includes a 1300Kv brushless motor, 80Amp brushless ESC, powerful steering servo, and 2.4GHz radio system. Two 2S LiPO battery packs are required (batteries sold separately).
At 670mm (26.38") long, the Shredder XTE is a big truck! The newest generation of Shredder vehicles includes large high-grip offroad tires, big bore oil filled shocks, and an incredibly powerful brushless power system.
To ensure the Shredder XTE can handle all that power, many of its plastic components have been updated with high impact molded plastic components for lasting durability and performance. Three gear differentials are used, not only to protect the drivetrain, but to add performance characteristics likened to an 1/8 scale buggy. The Shredder XTE is ready to perform on the track or in a vacant lot, so whether you race or bash, the Shredder XTE is a great choice. Its large size allows the Shredder XTE to drive where many 1/10 scale vehicles only dream of going.
Even though the Shredder XTE is definitely an impressive performing large scale brushless truck, it's main goal has always been to offer large scale vehicles, at a much lower cost than the market typically allows. While most large scale brushless vehicles on the RC market today are too expensive for the average hobbyist, the Shredder XTE is here to open the door into large scale RC ownership, to those who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford it.

LEAN AND MEAN
Designed to jump big, go fast and look great, the Shredder delivers high end performance at a price that wont break the bank. The chassis features a low center of gravity, clean layout and excellent weight distribution. A streamlined layout provides stability and balance you can feel. Strong lightweight composite plastics provide predictable handling and performance. Heavy duty front bumper and chassis plate offers protection on hard landings.
INDEPENDENT FRONT & REAR SUSPENSION
Front and rear lower control arms have been engineered for low weight and high strength. Robust and tunable suspension can handle the toughest off road conditions you can find. The rear wing is adjustable for optimum downforce or high speed stable jumping action. Extra thick shock towers feature a captured shock mount.
DRIVE GEAR & ELECTRONICS PROTECTION
Protection from dirt and debris is critical. Chassis side guards protect against rocks and road debris. The receiver /ESC case helps protect critical components. The Shredder features quality bearings for low friction and longevity. Smooth precise bearing operation allows longer run times and better performance.
PERFECTLY BALANCED PERFORMANCE
The motor is mounted low on the chassis to help reduce unwanted chassis roll in cornering. Evenly distributed chassis components provide superb balance and predictable handling. A center differential helps evenly distribute power between the front and rear wheels. Motor temperatures are kept safe thanks to the motor mount with integrated heat sink.
HIGH TORQUE 1300kv BRUSHLESS MOTOR
The 1300kv delivers insane power to the wheels. The SHREDDER brushless motor features a perfect balance of torque and speed.
80Amp 4S WATERPROOF ESC
The HobbyWing 80Amp ESC is top in its class for performance and reliability. The cooling fan keeps temperatures consistent during full throttle 4S action.
HEXFLY 15kg METAL GEAR SERVO
The HEXFLY high-torque servo supplies ample power needed to navigate harsh off-road conditions. Precision metal gears and high quality electronics are protected from water and other contaminates thanks to the durable and waterproof case.
REDCAT RACING RCR-2CE 2.4GHz RADIO & WATERPROOF RECEIVER
The Redcat RCR-2CE radio has a sleek lightweight design in a compact and extremely durable package. Using only 4AA batteries, the RCR-2CE radio is capable of extreme range with no loss of signal. A flip-up cover protects the adjustment controls from damage and debris. Throttle and steering reversing, throttle and steering trim and steering dual rate adjustments are easily adjusted from the control panel. The included receiver is compact, lightweight and waterproof.
