One of the most popular micro rock crawlers of all time, the SCX24 Jeep Gladiator is also one of the best values you’ll find in an RC rig. That’s especially true now that Axial has updated the RTR to include high-quality Spektrum electronics. The SCX24 Jeep Gladiator itself is upgraded with plush, oil-filled shocks for a suspension that smoothly absorbs bumps and remains stable over the roughest terrain.
And the SCX24 Jeep Gladiator still has all the performance advantages of the proven Axial SCX24 platform. Full-time 4WD and a 3-link front/4-link rear suspension let you muscle over big challenges. Worm gears on the axles increase the ground clearance. Realistic steel frame rails on the C-channel chassis stand up to hard knocks.
The SCX24 Jeep Gladiator performs like a winner and looks like one, too. The realistic scale body, available in three fresh color options, rides on licensed KMC Machete wheels and Nitto Trail Grappler tires. Two LEDs in the front bumper light up the trail for night-time crawling. For quick battery access, just remove one clip to tilt back the body.
Inside the box, in addition to the assembled and finished rig, you’ll find a Spektrum 2.4GHz transmitter, 350mAh LiPo battery, and handy USB charger. JEEP JT GLADIATOR BODY
Just like the full-size truck, the 1/24 scale Axial SCX24 Jeep JT Gladiator embodies overlanding adventuring. Its detailed scale body arrives factory-finished with several fresh color options. For quick battery access, just remove one clip to tilt back the body.
WORM GEARS
Metal worm gears in the front and rear differentials provide durability, higher ground clearance, and strong drag brakes.
STEEL C-CHANNEL CHASSIS FRAME RAILS
Like the 1/10 scale SCX10 platform, the SCX24 chassis features rugged and sturdy steel C-channel frame rails with bracing to keep everything intact and aligned.
FRONT AND REAR SOLID AXLE HOUSINGS
The front and rear axles consist of a two piece, molded composite solid axle design. For optimal handling, the SCX24 suspension features a 3-link front and 4-link rear setup.
4-LINK REAR SUSPENSION
The 4-link design of the rear suspension geometry is optimized to reduce axle steer and torque twist.
OIL-FILLED SHOCKS
The addition of oil-filled shocks allows the suspension to articulate smoothly over rough terrain. You can adjust the preload with 1mm, 2mm, and 4mm spacers to fine-tune your rig for your handling needs.
DURABLE STEEL AXLES
Steel front and rear axles, front stub axles, and dogbones provide the strength and durability needed to keep going during tough climbs and over rough trails.
SPLINED DRIVE SHAFTS
The front and rear drive shafts are splined and sleeved to allow for maximum suspension travel while keeping the power to the wheels.
DYNAMITE BRUSHED MOTOR
The included Dynamite 88T 180-size brushed electric motor provides the right amount of torque for making steep climbs. It's mated to a steel motor mount to keep flex to a minimum and help protect the gears.
SPEKTRUM SLT2 2.4GHz RADIO SYSTEM
The Spektrum SLT2 2-channel radio system offers high-end features such as throttle/steering travel adjust and throttle limiting. The ready-to-run package is so complete, even AA transmitter batteries are included.
FULL BALL BEARINGS
Just because the SCX24 is small doesn't mean its features follow suit. There are no bushings here. The drivetrain spins freely on sealed cartridge bearings throughout the entire vehicle.
