INITIATIVES AND CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS.
Hobbies for Good is the charitable arm of Horizon Hobby that collaborates with Horizon Hobby on select initiatives. Horizon Hobby employees see the bigger picture and realize theyâre part of something bigger than themselves. Whenever possible, we strive to make a difference by using hobbies as a platform to help people. We regularly donate our RC products to help charitable organizations raise money for great causes and send RC aircraft and vehicles overseas so members of our military can have a little fun now and then while serving so far from home.
Horizonites are always sharing their passion for hobbies by helping out in schools, youth groups, and clubs with added Horizon Hobby benefits like. employee matching for approved charities and scholarships that benefit the broader RC and modeling communities. Other Horizonite initiatives have raised money for cancer research, provided food and shelter for families in need, and provided American Red Cross contributions for victims of natural disasters.

Operation 11 Charlie is a veteran charity organization that lives the militaryâs code of honor to "leave no one behind," using RC as therapy to help veterans.

The Joseph M. Ambrose Engineering Visionary Scholarship Fund helps turn passions into possibilities at the Grainger College of Engineering at the University of Illinois.
