Defect Issue: This product recall addresses the washers that secure the Main Rotor Grip to the Head. There is a possibility these washers may fail, causing the main blades to separate from the head. The separation of the main blades from the head during flight will cause a product failure, and may result in damage to property and injury.
What To Do: Perform the corrective action below. These washers will be replaced by Horizon Hobby at no charge.
Remove the cap head bolt and washer from the spindle. Perform this step on both blade grips.
Clean the spindle bolts with denatured alcohol and ensure you have removed any residual oil. Perform this step on the spindle bolts for both grips.

Upon receipt of the completed form, a replacement washer set, prepaid shipping label and return packaging will be sent to you. Return the original washer set only (not the helicopter ) along with a printed copy of the completed Return Request Form using the packaging the new washers were shipped in.
After receiving the replacement washers, install them on both blade grips with the original cap screws. Make sure to apply medium-strength threadlock to the screws and allow time for the threadlock (about 4 to 6 hours) to dry before attempting to fl y your helicopter. If you purchased the spindle set (BLH5703), open the bag, remove the washers and follow steps 3 and 4 above.
Corrected kits and combos will have two white, circular stickers with Horizon Hobby printed in black resealing the box. Corrected spindle sets will have a marked black dot to the right of the part number on the front of the header card.
