The SPMBT1000 Bluetooth adapter can only be used with mobile devices that use Android or IOS. This adapter is not compatible with Windows. With a PC, a SPMA3065 USB adapter would be needed.
Yes, it will work with current iOS.
Yes, you can use the SPMA3065 with the DXS, but the SPMA3068 serial adapter is also required.
