Inspired by the superior features of the original model, version two (V2) of the RocHobby F-16 64mm has improved mechanical and structural features that will enhance air performance and decrease assembly time.
A fiber pipe greatly enhances the wing strength for enhanced flying maneuvers. An improved main wing set and landing gear installation optimizes strength of structure and reduces assembly time.
Plus, the latest 64mm ducted fan can achieve more than 800 grams of thrust.
The differences in speeds between the V1 and V2 will be noticeable. If you've got the “need for speed,” accessories such as missiles can be removed to create a faster, more streamlined model.

Very Realistic Looking EDF

This is another winner from FMS/ Roc Hobby. Easy to assemble and a great flyer. It flies fine on a 3 cell 2200 battery. I don´t dare to try a 4 cell because of the motor size. Jets require patience as they need a long takeoff roll to get up to speed.. This plane flies very realistic and will loop and roll if you desire.

Review by Captain C. on 4 Jun 2019review stating Big let-down
I used to LOVE Horizon Hobby but this plane changed that. Looks great, sounds great and easy to assemble yes, but flew like the CG was to far aft. Four flights, that all ended badly, Now it's off in the woods somewhere (I've been flying for 43 years - have 10 planes ready to go at any given moment, including scratch-builts and helis etc....) But as I moved the CG the main characteristics didn't really improve - with the CG forward I needed almost full elevator to keep it aloft. Called tech support - but they didn't care - So I have to conclude that either it just flies that way (and they're okay with that) I got a lemon, (and they're okay with that) or that the company has changed to one that isn't interested in their products the way they used to be. Either way, I wouldn't buy one of these.
