The Horizon Hobby AIRMEET is back for its next chapter. The RC aviation highlight will take place on August 15 at the Sportflugplatz Donauwörth/Genderkingen in Germany.
AIRMEET is evolving.
After many incredible years with thousands of visitors, we're turning the page â towards a more intensive, higher-quality experience for true RC aviation enthusiasts. Instead of a traditional large-scale event, AIRMEET 2026 combines spectacular show flying with a genuine community atmosphere â more personal, more intense, and closer than ever before. With limited access, extraordinary show acts, face-to-face time with Europe's top pilots, and a fully all-inclusive experience on site. The new AIRMEET means: more intimacy, more experience, more quality, more time with the pilots, more comfort â and a show you probably won't find anywhere else in Europe. With only 500 guests, we are deliberately creating an atmosphere that goes far beyond a classic fly-in.
Professional camera crews will also be on site throughout the day, producing high-quality and exciting content, which will be available on Social Media troughout the whole year â so even more people can experience the fascination of RC model aviation.

A community event for RC aviation enthusiasts. Top pilots from across Europe â including Team Horizon Hobby Europe, Red Bull Aerobatic Team and Flippers Aerobatic Team â will showcase their skills and present top products from Horizon Hobby and other leading manufacturers. A Night Flight Show with pyro effects and many more highlights await you at the non-stop airshow on Saturday, 15 August 2026, from 10:00 to 22:00 in Donauwörth / Genderkingen.
Highlights at AIRMEET 2026:
- Otto Widlroither with the world's largest RC model of the Concorde ever built
- Martin Sannwald from Switzerland with his Starfigther in 1:3 scale
- The Red Bull RC Aviation Team with Robert and Sebastian Fuchs and Tim Stadler shows formation flying in a class of its own
- Team pilot Luca Baumann with the Ares XL, show flight at its best
- The Jet Cat Team with leader Marc Petrak makes the skies over Genderkingen shake with 5 X F-16 fighter jets
- Philipp Geyer skilfully stages his Eurofighter and is in no way inferior to the performance of the original
- The Flippers Aerobatic Team (Luca Baumann, Oliver Preis, Nick Ruppert) will inspire with spectacular show flight performances
- Wolfgang Kappler, a veteran of the European show flight scene, flies his mighty Super Scale Fiat G-91
- JĂŒrgen Schreiner, the exceptional model builder and Horizon team pilot, brings his self-designed/built Pitts Bulldog to Genderkingen
- Markus Rummer alias "Dr.Low" overrides flight physics with his 4D Votec and inspires with show flights in a class of their own
- Sebastiano Silvestri from Italy, multiple-time Italian Champion and World Championship competitor, presents a high-class jet aerobatic display set to Italian music.
- Gianluca De Marchi brings his scale replica of the MB-346 Frecce Tricolori to the Airmeet and will present the model in Germany for the very first time.
- Heiko and Moritz GĂ€rtner perform a formation flight with the MiG-29 and the Eurofighter.

Take the B16 federal road towards Donauwörth, then follow the signs for Genderkingen. The airfield is approx. 7 km east of Donauwörth town centre. Free parking is available directly on site â included in your ticket. Navigation: Forstmahd 3, 86682 Genderkingen, Germany
By Public Transport
The nearest train stop is Genderkingen halt on the IngolstadtâNeuoffingen line â approx. 3,5 km from the airfield.
Please note: public transport connections to the venue are very limited, especially in the evening. We strongly recommend travelling by car or arranging a taxi from Donauwörth town centre.
