RC Trainer Completion Levels

RC Trainers typically come in two different completion levels: Ready-to-Fly (RTF) or Bind-N-Fly Basic (BNF Basic). Decide which option is right for you.

Ready-To-Fly

Ready-To-Fly (RTF) RC Trainers come with everything you need to fly. They include a transmitter, LiPo battery and charger. They also include an installed flight receiver that has been pre-bound to the included transmitter.

Ready-To-Fly Basic

Ready-To-Fly (RTF) Basic RC airplanes include almost everything needed to fly except for a battery and charger. This allows you to choose a convenient and money-saving Spektrum Powerstage bundle or compatible battery and charger of your choice!

Bind-N-Fly Basic

Bind-N-Fly Basic (BNF Basic) RC Trainers include an installed flight receiver but require you to provide your own transmitter, LiPo battery and charger. BNF RC Trainers are a good option for you if you are planning on expanding your airplane fleet in the future and would like to purchase a separate transmitter that is compatible with most future RC planes that you would want to add.
