DLE takes 50cc performance to a new level with the rear exhaust DLE-55RA. Everything about this engine screams performance, from the piston skirt – designed to be lightweight for quick throttle response and tons of power – to the rear exhaust that lets you easily install a tuned pipe in your aircraft. The 55RA provides 100 more rpm than the standard DLE55. It includes engines standoffs, electronic ignition, spark plug and Pitts style muffler.
With DLE, accessories are an added value instead of an extra cost.

The sensor is the device that detects propeller/crankshaft rotation, and sends a signal to the ignition unit, so that the spark plug can be fired at the appropriate time.
It is needed, and included with each DLE engine.
It will depend on the propeller brand/style, and also the type of model. 20x10 would be a reasonable starting point.

Needed to Complete
- Gasoline with at least 87 octane rating
- 2-cycle oil, mix ratio for this engine is 30 parts gas to one part oil and must be followed exactly for warranty consideration and optimum performance
- 4.8 - 12V battery for ignition (separate receiver style pack can be used)
- **NOTE, 1st version ignition is marked 'A-01' on the label and requires a regulator if using 2S LiPo/LiFe battery If ignition module is the A-02 model it has a built-in voltage regulator. Model A-02 designation is located above the word "Ignition" on top of the case**
