Brushless motors go bad when the rotor loses its magnetic strength due to the demagnetizing effects of the stator while the motor is under power. When this happens the motor will lose bottom end, run hotter and eventually burn up the stator windings. Use the I-Gauss to test the strength of your rotor. A great tool for ROAR spec class racers for tuning your motors magnet strength for the track.
Extra V block mounting hole for longer Novak style and Duo 550 monster truck rotors. Special I-Gauss features include a super wide sensor design which makes placement of the rotor less critical for accurate readings.
