Step 2
The engine should be mounted at 5" from the prop drive hub to the firewall. With some 4 stroke engines such as the Saito 100 one of the carb mounting screws may conact the engine mount in the back at this distance. If this occurs, install the engine at 5 1/8". You can later mount the cowling a little further foward to compensate for this 1/8" difference.
If using a 4 stroke engine, an aluminum spinner should be used, such as a Tru-Turn Spinner. The spinner is a 2 3/4" spinner.
Before gluing the pushrods into the pushrod ends, be sure to measure the needed pushrod length in your set up, and cut the pushrods to length as necessary with your servos centered. Be sure your measurements are correct before cutting the pushrod to length. In this kit, the pushrods for the elevator and rudder were cut down roughly 5/8", however this will very based on servo position, control horn location, and servos used.
