No, this is not a Spektrum SMART ESC
Yes there is a low voltage cutoff (LVC). It kicks in around 3.4V/cell. It's important to land and charge the battery when this occurs, and you will see a higher voltage after disconnecting the battery, since voltage recovers a bit when there is no longer any electrical load on the battery
Prolonged 4S use with the stock ESC is not recommended.
