In today's fast paced world, it's nice to be able to kick back and take it slow. GWS's Slow Stick Park Flyer offers all the fun and excitement of small-scale electric flight at a relaxing pace.
Based on the popular Pico Stick indoor slow flyer, the Slow Stick is specifically designed to be big enough for operation in light winds, yet slow enough to let you launch it just about anywhere. Best of all, you can have it up and flying in one evening thanks to its super-simple construction.
It can be flown using standard or mini-sized sport servos.
You will need a minimum of a 3-channel receiver, compatible with your transmitter. The GWS receiver is a great choice: GWSR4PJ to be used with JR or Airtronics and GWSR4PF for Futaba and Hitec. You will also need to be sure to get a GWS crystal to go with either of these (GWSXFRM**--replace the ** with your frequency number). You can purchase a flight pack that includes the receiver, speed control and servos needed: GWS2090 for JR, GWS or Airtronics and GWS2095 for Futaba or Hitec.
You can use GWS Pico, Naro, Micro or Mini servos. I chose the Mini flight pack with Mini servos from GWS for testing and found no problems. The Naro servos are GWSNAROJ for a JR-style plug, and GWSNAROF for a Futaba-style plug. You will need to cut a little foam away for the Mini servos. You can purchase a flight pack that includes the receiver, speed control and servos: GWS2090 for JR, GWS or Airtronics and GWS2095 for Futaba or Hitec.
