JR’s phenomenal 12X. The ultimate combination of pro-class performance, security, convenience and quality.
As a product of inspired collaboration between JR and Spektrum engineers, the integrated 12X 2.4 and module-based 12X MV represent a true breakthrough in pro-class radio control. So in addition to flying with the proven security and convenience of Spektrum™ 2.4GHz DSMX® technology, you can expect to be flying with the kind of innovative, no-nonsense features you expect from JR®—features devoted solely to the experience of flying with optimized control of your models.
Ultra-fast 2.4GHz DSM control response, plus refined 2048 resolution.
The extremely low latency of the 12X—a result of JR/Spektrum cooperation and ingenuity—delivers an astonishing sense of connection with your model. It’s a feature that prompted perennial World Championship competitor Quique Somenzini to declare the prototype “unbelievable, amazing!” after only one flight. Also, thanks to another 12X breakthrough, all 12 channels respond to commands with identical speed and perfect synchronization for unprecedented control precision. Then, to top it off, the instantaneous response of the 12X is complemented by the accuracy of JR’s refined 2048 resolution.
Exclusive patented ModelMatch™ technology to prevent “wrong model syndrome,” plus a 50-model memory.
Here’s how ModelMatch works: If you’re operating on 2.4GHz and your transmitter doesn’t “recognize” your model as the selected model when your airborne system is turned on, there’ll be absolutely no control response. You’ll be alerted that something’s wrong and a costly crash may be averted.* Also, the 12X’s included PC Data Transfer System permits you to upload an unlimited number of model setups from your transmitter to your computer, then access and download any 50 of them to your 12X transmitter’s model memory for use at the field.
Unmatched JR quality in every detail.
From its exclusive, durable, precision-cast magnesium transmitter housing to its ultra-legible, high-resolution backlit display, everything about your 12X speaks of the kind of quality that’s a benchmark of JR equipment. The ultra-smooth, quad-bearing stick assemblies, proven rolling selector data input, accessible shoulder-mounted momentary contact switches—and details like the custom naming capability for flight modes—all contribute to the unmistakable feeling that you’re flying with the very best, most intelligently conceived pro-class equipment that’s ever been introduced.

Here are some articles we think will be of interest to you as you consider Horizon Hobby products. We'll add new relevant articles as they become available.
With power applied to the receiver it is looking for a signal. If the transmitter is not on it will pick up various stray radio signals(RF/noise) in your area and cause servos to appear erratic.
The cardinal rules for RC:
1. When starting, turn on the transmitter 1st and receiver 2nd.
2. When finished, turn off the receiver 1st and transmitter last.
Absolutey not. Most cellular phones operate in 900Mhz (and above) and should have no effect on your radio's transmission or programming.
Any fuel residue can be removed using a small amount of isopropyl alcohol and a cloth. It will not affect the plastic of your transmitter. Always remove raw fuel immediately from your transmitter.
When the transmitter is in close proximity to the receiver the modulated signal can be overdriven. This condition is referred to as "swamping." By collapsing the antenna and stepping away from the model, you should see this condition dissipate.
Make sure to perform a proper range check and then extend the antenna before operating the model.
When storing your TX for an extended period of time, make sure it is wiped clean from fuel or other residue. Disconnect the battery from the transmitter and store the radio in a cool, dry place.
This can happen for several reasons.
A. Check that the travel adjust is not set at zero or low value.
B. Try switching to another model memory that hasn't been programmed and re-check to see if control has returned.
C. Check to see if servo is properly connected and/or try another servo.
We recommend 1 amp or less. The transmitter can handle up to 2 amps for short periods of time. For the best results, please use the supplied JR wall charger.
1. Damaged charge plug.
2. Polarity damage.
3. Static electricity on the charge plug.
4. Charge rate set too high
The most common reasons for reverse polarity:
1. Charger with improper connection. See your JR Radio Manual
2. Broken battery connector.
3. Altered battery leads
Analog trim transmitters use a potentiometer to vary a voltage for trim adjustment. Digital trim transmitters have micro-switches to step trim adjustment.
Yes, though it is sending it's signal to the master transmitter and not transmitting on its own, the slave requires power for its circuitry that is not supplied by the master.
The fuse is a device to protect against overcurrent. It's not a polarized component affected by direction of current flow.
FM (Frequency Modulation) uses an analog sine wave to carry data between the transmitter and the receiver. PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) uses digital encoding to transfer information between the transmitter and the receiver.
Manufacture defects are the only issues covered under warranty. Use, abuse, reverse polarity, stripped gears, etc. are not covered.
