Graphic Designer - Brand

Responsibilities Include:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for basic ad conceptualization and design for a variety of projects including ad layout, packaging, logos, newsletters, etc. The Brand Designer will focus on creating and maintaining our branding identity through advertising, packaging and printed materials.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 2-3 years of graphic design or production artist exp required.
  • A BFA degree in Graphic Designis preferred, with a minimum Associates degree.
  • Good concept, design, layout and typographic skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Freehand, on the Macintosh platform are important.

Master Planner

The Master Planner is responsible for day-to-day operation of our supply chain/procurement software. Responsibilities include development and implementation of corporate strategies for inventory policies. The position will also be responsible continual training and support for Purchasing team members on inventory forecasting and planning techniques.

Senior Product Developer - Helicopters

Responsibilities Include:

The Senior Product Developer - Helicopters will focus on developing new r/c helicopters and helicopter related products. The development process includes:

1. Design
2. Flight testing
3. Interaction with Asian vendors, including occasional travel to China
4. Demonstration at events, display at trade shows
5. Leading the creation of instruction manuals
6. Managing the quality assurance for assigned projects

In addition, the Senior Product Developer- Helicopters will provide technical expertise and support for products after they have been launched.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Intermediate to advanced r/c helicopter piloting skills required, with the ability to perform some 3D manuevers.
  • Proficiency with ProEngineer and/or SolidWorks preferred.
  • College degree in related field preferred, but must have high school diploma.
  • Must be self-motivated, capable of multi-tasking, detail-oriented, and able to organize and set work priorities for themselves.

Senior Engineer - Electrical

Responsibilities Include:

As part of the Product Development Team, it is the Engineer’s responsibility to utilize specialized knowledge of principles and (preferably) considerable radio control experience to design, build, test and analyze RC products.

Summary: The successful candidate brings a level of training and experience in the field of software development and is responsible for practical results based on the previously determined technical direction.

Specific Responsibilities:
  1. Builds upon and maintains the radio system software platform.
  2. Works with rest of engineering team to directly develop products for proprietary radio brands.
  3. Drive projects by assuming accountability for project content and timely completion.
  4. Make recommendations for investments in tools and hardware necessary to perform job function and secure a long-term leadership position in the market.
  5. Provides software support to operations for the generation of automated test equipment.
  6. Responsible for estimating and reporting project R&D costs and timeline
  7. Initiate and continue professional growth. Participate in training programs with passion to apply acquired knowledge into practice
  8. Share new knowledge with the other team members


Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science or higher in software Engineering, computer science or related engineering degree with equivalent experience (electrical, mechanical, etc).
  • Programming: C and assembler.
  • Two to five years of applicable product engineering experience- knowledge of RC hobby products is a plus.
  • Microcontroller development experience with one or more of the following: PSOC, AVR, PIC, AT91.
  • Computer skills, applicable development tools, Catalyst, PADS PCB, and MS Office tools

Creative Group Manager

Responsibilities Include:

The Creative Group Manager will work in partnership with the Brand Manager to understand his or her product category and help establish the vision and identity of each brand.

He/she works with the Senior Creative Director and/or Creative Director to establish the conceptual and stylistic direction for each brand and develop creative strategies to support the brands.

Qualifications/Experience:

Stocker
Department: Inventory Control - Days 1/15/2010 2:22:57 PM
Responsibilities Include:

The Inventory Control Associate will be personally accountable for all inventory from the time the product is properly placed into a reserve area until such time as a picker selects an item from a primary pick location. This responsibility shall include the processes of stocking the primary pick from reserve, preparing labels for backstock, moving backstock via RF from the reserve area into primary pick or backstock staging area, moving product via RF from the backstock staging area into backstock locations, evaluating and correcting backstock location errors, and the downstocking of product with the RF scanner from the backstock locations into the primary pick.

Qualifications/Experience:

Candidates must be able to:
  • Perform heavy physical activity such as lifting up to 70 lbs., pushing, pulling and reaching.
  • The individual must have the ability to operate an RF scanner.

Quality Engineer

Responsibilities Include:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring a high level of quality in our products by creating, improving and implementing robust manufacturing, test and inspection processes and holding our manufacturing partners accountable to them. In addition, the Quality Engineer works with our internal Purchasing and Development departments to manage existing and new products to ensure that they arrive in our customers' hands on time with an excellent level of quality that delights our customers.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Develop and maintain controlled manufacturing systems and processes designed to provide high quality products.
  2. Coordinate with Purchasing and Product Development to ensure that production schedules are kept and supported.
  3. Work with our manufacturing partners to ensure capabilities, capacity, processes, and quality are capable of meeting current and future needs.
  4. Implement a manufacturing test system with a goal of improving overall product quality and minimizing "defects".
  5. Evaluate and recommend appropriate level of development resources to execute product plan efficiently on an ongoing basis.
  6. Work with Marketing and Purchasing teams to develop forecasts for long-lead components.
  7. Ensure that we have a good balance of manufacturing load across our manufacturing sub-contractors and develop contingency strategies that can be used as back-up plans in the case of delivery issues with suppliers or manufacturers.
  8. Schedule time efficiently to provide cost effective job performance. Initiate and respond to all related job tasks in a timely manner. Assume responsibility for own actions.
  9. Initiate and continue professional growth. Participate in training programs with passion to apply acquired knowledge into practice


Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science or higher, preferably BSCE, BSEE, BSME or BSIE.
  • Two to five years of consumer products manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in ISO 9000 or similar Quality standards and ability to implement those standards.
  • Experience working with RF electronics or injection molding.
  • Experience with QA test and inspection plan development.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office programs, Project or other project management software. Engineering software knowledge is a plus.
  • ASQ CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge of working with RC hobby products is a plus.

The Product Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage the efficient development and manufacture of products that meet the needs and desires of our targeted customers. The Product Manager will accomplish this goal in a way that maximizes sales and margin potential, follows strategic initiatives and product plans and promotes positive ongoing vendor relationships. The Product Manager is responsible for the long term success of the products and is heavily involved in all stages of the development process.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a product development setting in the R/C hobby, technical sports equipment or toy industries. Should also have good knowledge of the R/C industry and significant hands-on experience using R/C products.
